ebro® Electronic is founded by Erhard Bross in Freiburg.
1976
Production is moved to Ingolstadt. ebro® Electronic develops and produces power supplies. Producing one million power supplies annually, ebro becomes market leader in Germany.
1980
Production range is expanded to include battery-powered handheld thermometers with electronic display.
1986
Second generation of handheld measuring instruments.
1989
First generation of Temperature Data Loggers type TEMPTIMEM is developed.
1990
Third generation of handheld measuring instruments is developed.
1992
Development of compact and waterproof temperature data loggers.
1993
Development of fourth generation of handheld measuring instruments.

Development of second generation of temperature data loggers
EBI-85A /125A (higher temperature range +140 °C, larger memory capacity).

Completion of the EBI-2 data logger family, (data loggers with display for temperature and temperature/humidity).

Fifth generation of handheld measuring instruments, development of temperature/pressure data loggers.
1999
Completion of three new products for food technology: special data loggers for the beverage industry such as the EBI-Pasteur logger, the CO2 logger and the bottle cleaning logger.

ebro® introduces three new data loggers: high temperature logger for NiCr-Ni elements, EBI-2 pressure logger up to 50 bar, EBI U/I Logger for norm signals.
2001
ebro® introduces the universal measuring instrument UNIMETER TM and completes the FOM Oil Meter.
2002
Measuring instrument FOM 200 for measuring the quality of deep frying oil directly in the deep fryer is introduced into the market. Product range is expanded to include temperature logger EBI-6 for measuring range -25 bis +40 °C.
2003
UniPC Software for UNIMETER TM is completed. Cooperation with a European producer of medical products is intensified.

Innovations for the medical, the pharmaceutical and the food processing industry.

Complete new generation of ebro® handheld measuring instruments is launched.

Development of EBI 20 data logger series and new pH loggers.

Wireless data logger Series EBI 10 is introduced into the market; universal software Winlog.pro is released.
2008
Mini-Data Logger EBI 11 and EBI 15 System for monitoring steam penetration in steam sterilizers are introduced into the market.
2009
Development of the EBI 100 data logger as a replacement for the successful EBI 125A-Series and commercial launch of the EBI 25 radio probe system for remote temperature monitoring in real-time with radio technology.
