How it works – simple operation in three steps

1. Programming – two simple options for measurement configuration.

To get you started quickly, there are two options available for programming your PDF data logger:

Option 1: Programming with the free Winlog.basic software

  • Connect the data logger to a free USB port on your Windows™ PC.
  • Open the Winlog.basic software free download.
  • Set measurement parameters such as start time, measurement interval and limit values.
  • Save the configuration – done! Your logger is ready for immediate use.

This option is particularly suitable if you regularly work with several loggers or want to make detailed settings.

Option 2: Programming via online programming

  • Open the online programmer.
  • Select your desired parameters directly in the browser.
  • Click on Create programming – an executable file will be generated.
  • Download this file and run it to automatically program your EBI logger.

This method is ideal if you want to get started quickly without installing any software.

2. Start measurement – place and record

Once programmed, your logger is ready for use.

  • Position it at the desired measuring point – for example
  • in the transport container, cold store or container of your choice 

And start the measurement.

The logger will now reliably record temperature and humidity data at the set interval and store it securely in its internal memory.

3. Evaluate – automatically, easily, efficiently

After completing the measurement, reconnect the logger to your Windows™ PC via USB.

The EBI 300 or EBI 310 automatically generates a PDF report that clearly displays all measured values and limit violations.No special evaluation software is required – the report can be opened immediately with a standard PDF reader.

In addition, the raw data is stored as a separate file so that you can reuse it for archiving, audit trails or emailing.

Once the evaluation is complete, the logger can be reprogrammed and reused – ready for its next assignment.

Temperature mapping with the EBI 300 series – reliable, meaningful, informative

Temperature mapping involves creating a spatial temperature profile – for example, in cold rooms, warehouses or transport containers – in order to visualize temperature zones, hot or cold spots and outliers. With EBI 300 series USB data loggers, these mapping protocols can be implemented easily and effectively.

  • Multi-point monitoring: Place several loggers simultaneously at strategic positions (e.g. near the floor, in the middle, on the ceiling) to obtain a complete temperature profile.
  • Automated evaluation: As soon as the loggers are reconnected to the PC, they automatically generate PDF reports – including a graphical overview of the temperature curves.
  • Automatically documented: The mapping data is ideal for qualification and validation processes – e.g. within the framework of ISO, HACCP or GMP.
  • Informative data: Reliably identify temperature deviations or critical zones – and adjust environmental conditions or cooling technology accordingly.
