Is the WLX.basic Software really free?
Yes. The WLX.basic is a free software for measurement data acquisition with ebro data loggers. It offers a modern, user-friendly interface, optimized reporting functions, database support, a threshold violation report and support for two monitors.
What does Winlog.pro, Winlog.med or Winlog.validation cost?
The licensed versions are tiered according to feature set and device drivers. Current prices and licensing models are available on request or in the ebro shop.
What does FDA 21 CFR Part 11 mean?
FDA 21 CFR Part 11 is a regulation by the US health authority FDA for electronic records and electronic signatures in regulated industries. The ebro software provides data integrity, audit trail and electronic signatures in the corresponding versions – the basis for audit-proof documentation in pharma and medicine.
What is the difference between Winlog.med and Winlog.validation?
Winlog.med is TÜV-certified software for routine control – for recurring monitoring tasks. Winlog.validation goes further: it is TÜV-certified and additionally covers process-related validation and qualification, with automatic recognition of process steps and evaluation against predefined criteria, as well as incl. IQ/OQ documentation.
What is the F0 value?
The F0 value (also called lethality value) describes the microbial kill during sterilization processes as an equivalent time at 121 °C.
What is temperature mapping?
In temperature mapping, several data loggers are distributed simultaneously in a chamber, oven or room to record the temperature distribution. Winlog.validation and Winlog.pro support mapping evaluations, incl. 3D display of sensor placement.
Does the ebro software run on Windows 11?
Partly. The WLX Logger Software, Winlog.pro and Winlog.validation support Windows 10 (32/64 bit) and Windows 11 (32/64 bit). Winlog.med supports Windows Vista, 8 and 10 (32/64 bit). Winlog.web supports Windows 8 and 10 (32/64 bit). The exact system requirements can be found on the respective product page in the ebro shop
Are the software versions TÜV-certified?
Winlog.med and Winlog.validation are TÜV-certified. The TÜV certificate is available for download. The WLX.basic, Winlog.pro and Winlog.web are not TÜV-certified, but contain the FDA 21 CFR Part 11 functionality in the relevant versions.
Where can I download the ebro evaluation software?
The free WLX .basic and current drivers can be found on the "Software and Drivers" page or directly in the ebro shop. Licensed versions (Winlog.pro, Winlog.med, Winlog.validation, Winlog.web) are available through the ebro shop or on request.

The versions with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 functionality (Winlog.med, Winlog.validation) support the data integrity requirements of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and GDP (Good Distribution Practice), as these regulatory frameworks require electronic records, audit trail and access control.
