Factory calibration
In general, most ebro measuring devices are delivered with a certificate of factory calibration. This way, the function and the tolerances defined in the technical specifications are guaranteed. The factory calibration is performed with factory standards calibrated by the German national accreditation body (DAkkS).

- Verification of the calibration-capable characteristics is provided by the factory calibration certificate.
Conformity confirmation
Measurements made by a measurement device whose conformity has been confirmed are legally binding. This means that measurement means of this type are ideal for state controlling bodies to use such as food authorities or official experts.
- At this time, only boards of weights and measures perform conformity confirmations.
- Measurement devices whose conformity must be confirmed must have a special design certification from the Physikalisch Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB, national metrology institute of the Federal Republic of Germany)
- The conformity confirmation specifies display correction, certification error limits and the period of validity.
- With the TFX 422C, ebro offers a thermometer with conformity confirmation.
Calibration in accordance with ISO 9000 ff.
Modern quality assurance systems such as ISO 9000 ff, QS 9000, GxP and FDA require inspection equipment monitoring and thus regular calibration of the inspection equipment. With the help of an ebro ISO calibration, this can be performed inexpensively, quickly and precisely.
- Technical calibration experts perform the calibration in a special laboratory.
- The detailed documentation of the results is made into what is called an ISO calibration certificate with the information of traceability of the reference device.
- Manufacturer-independent calibration, third-party equipment can also be calibrated.
- The calibration also includes adjustment of the devices as required (but only for ebro devices).
For temperature and pressure, we recommend performing calibration annually; for humidity semi-annually. Upon request, we can also integrate you into the free ebro calibration reminder service. The price for calibration in accordance with ISO 9000 ff including certificate includes 3 defined standard calibration points. Optional special calibration points between -90 °C and +250 °C are also possible for a small fee. For calibration of temperature / humidity loggers, 2 to 3 calibration points of humidity are included in the price. A temperature calibration in the range of -40 °C ... +75 °C can also be performed.
Accredited calibration according to DAkkS guidelines
Factory-standard measurement devices from technical experts and some measurement tasks in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors – i.e. everywhere a particular degree of safety is required – often require a DAkkS calibration. This is performed specially by the PTB-monitored DAkkS laboratories.

The price for a accredited calibration according to DAkkS guidelines including a DAkkS certificate includes 3 calibration points between -90 °C and +250 °C or 10% … 95% for humidity calibration that can be chosen freely. Additional calibration points are also possible for a small fee.
